We keep thinking things will slow down and we’ll get better at posting updates but clearly that has not been the case, so at long last here’s a quick summary. Last fall and winter, we installed a frost-protection sprinkler system, added a 40,000-gallon rainwater storage tank, and got the living space in our Ag Building ready for move-in. We also enjoyed visiting family in Colorado, Minnesota, Ohio, and Arizona.
This spring, we finished pruning just before budbreak. The vines grew quickly, and with plenty of spring rain, we’ve stayed busy keeping them in shape. We’re looking forward to a successful 2026 harvest season.
After selling the house in Burleson, we moved into the cabin at our new location full-time on October 31. We were grateful to live on-site, and the cabin served us well, but we were happy to move into the new living space in the Ag Building in May 2026.
If you’re ready for a break from the city, we offer wide-open spaces, beautiful sunsets, and star-filled nights. The cabin is now available and includes a queen bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. We also have two RV spots with electric and water hookups. We’d love to have you visit!
